بزرگداشت روز ملی اتریش با آغاز به کار سومین دوره هیات مدیره اتاق مشترک بازرگانی ایران و اتریش همزمان شده است. 26 اکتبر 1955 جایگاه مهمی در تاریخ کشور اتریش دارد چرا که در این روز، دکتر کارل رنر، رئیس جمهور سابق اتریش، اعلامیه استقلال اتریش را اعلام داشتند. این اعلامیه تاریخی در کاخ Villa Blaimschein، محلی که اکنون سفارت ایران در آن قرار دارد، قرائت شد. امروز، این افتخار ماست که به گرمی از مردم اتریش استقبال کنیم و از آنها دعوت کنیم تا از مکانی که تعهد اتریش به بی طرفی و استقلال دائمی در آن تثبیت شده بود، بازدید به عمل آورند.
این روز می تواند فرصتی باشد تا دو کشور عزم خود برای پیشبرد این روابط را جزم کنند. تاریخ، گواه ماهیت پایدار همکاری این دو کشور است و وظیفه ما به عنوان نمایندگان بخش خصوصی، این است که میراثی که به امانت در دستان ما قرار گرفته را ارج نهاده، تثبیت کرده و به نسل بعدی مدیران و کارآفرینان منتقل کنیم.
از فرصت این رویداد فرخنده استفاده میکنم تا از فعالان اقتصادی دو کشور، برای ترسیم، تدوین و توسعه مسیر گفتگوی جدیدی که ریشه در ارزشها و اهداف مشترک دارد دعوت کنم.

In a remarkable convergence, the observance of Austria’s National Day finds itself aligned with the inauguration of the third term of the Board of Directors of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce. It is a felicitous juncture, and it is worth noting that October 26, 1945, bears a distinguished significance within the annals of Austrian history. The residence building of the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Austria in April 1945 was the place of negotiations related to the formation of the provisional government in the Second Republic of Austria, which was managed by Dr. Karl Renner, the former president of Austria. It is an honor for Iran to have hosted a place of such historical significance. It is noteworthy that this historic declaration was enunciated within the confines of the Villa Blaimschein, a site that presently accommodates the Embassy of Iran. In the present day, we take great pride in extending a cordial invitation to the Austrian populace, welcoming them to traverse the very ground where Austria’s unwavering commitment to permanent neutrality and independence was firmly etched into the annals of history.
In this momentous juncture, the timing could not be more propitious for the economic activists of the either sides to reaffirm their steadfast dedication to the advancement of bilateral relations. The historical record attests to the enduring and mutually beneficial nature of cooperation between the economic activists of the either sides. As stewards of the private sector, it is our solemn responsibility to uphold, fortify, and transmit the heritage entrusted to us to the forthcoming generation of managers and entrepreneurs.
I seize this auspicious occasion to extend an earnest invitation to the economic activists of the either sides, urging them to jointly chart, articulate, and cultivate a new trajectory of dialogue rooted in shared values and objectives. With eager anticipation, we await the prospects for collaboration that lie ahead, and I invite each and every one of you to stand in unison with the newly appointed Board of Directors of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce in this collective pursuit of sagacity.
